The S-Click HNS416TM is a 2-in-1 lighting timer switch that automatically turns lights off after a pre-determined time. Time delay can be set in minute increments from 1-60 minutes - perfect for areas that are frequently occupied for relatively short periods. Supporting both timer and non-timer functions, this unit also allows for lights to be manually turned off with a quick tap.

Our minute timer switch is ideal for domestic use and can be retrofitted to most installed lights. A blue LED indicates device status and gives an expiry warning within the last 10 seconds before the lights time-out. The timer settings are retained even after loss of power and can be configured to power up on or off after loss of mains power.

Programming your desired off-time could not be simpler; a sustained 10 second press of the button enters programming mode. Just tap the button once for each minute of run time you require, up to 60 minutes. Programming mode expires 10 seconds after the last tap, and the unit then commits your settings to memory. If you happen to press the button more than 60 times, the maximum run time of 60 minutes will be stored.

Applications and Compatibility

The HNS416TM is perfect for lighting in areas such as hallways, garages, laundries and wardrobes. All require adequate lighting but are generally not occupied for extended periods. Using a minute timer switch in these areas prevents the excess energy consumption caused by leaving lights on accidentally.

S-Premium Timers are a range extension of the successful S-Click Smart Living range and are specifically designed to be compatible with Clipsal Saturn and Saturn Zen wall plates. These push button timers make use of the button already installed in the wall plate, allowing for your newly installed S-Click timer to perfectly match existing installed switches.

The HNS416TM is multi-way switching capable using 240V normally open momentary switches.

Not suitable for fans, motors or iron core ballasts.
